Patrick Cummins is a Senior Policy Advisor for the Center for the New Energy Economy. His work focuses on air quality and he has previously served as Air Quality Program Director for the Western Governor’s Association (WGA), Co-Chair of the EPA’s Clean Air Act Advisory Committee on Air Quality Management, and, most recently, Executive Director of Western Climate Initiative (WCI), Inc. Cummins also served as Deputy Director of Denver’s Regional Air Quality Council where he received an EPA Environmental Achievement Award for his work to bring the Denver area into compliance with federal health-based air quality standards.

Cummins earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Fort Lewis College, and his MPA in Environmental Policy from Indiana University.
