Jody Donovan currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Colorado State University. Jody also teaches and advises graduate students in the Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) Masters program. Recently Jody has broadened her work to include international and global issues within the higher education context, presenting a two-day intensive NASPA International Student Services Institute (NISSI) in both Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi.

During the past 26 years, Jody has worked in a variety of Student Affairs positions at both large, public and small, private institutions. In every position, the highlight of her day is working directly with students.

Jody earned her Ph.D in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership at the University of Northern Colorado, received her Masters Degree in Counseling and College Student Development at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Jody was recently appointed as one of 12 Faculty Fellows for NASPA.
